Scholarships – 2022
Scholarship Award: up to $2000.00 as a one-time award
Eligibility: Award deserving high school seniors who identify as African-American or
Black/African Descent who attend school and/or reside in Bucks County, PA.
o You can apply for only 1 scholarship
Scholarship Categories
o HBCU Scholarship:
Available to students attending a Historically Black College or University,
(HBCU), as a full-time student in the Fall of 2022.
o Bucks County Community College:
Available to students attending Bucks County Community College as a
full-time student in the Fall 2022

REQUIREMENTS & ELIGIBILITY
All applicants must meet the following requirements and eligibility in order for the application
to be forwarded to the Scholarship Committee for consideration. Incomplete applications will
not be considered:
High school senior graduating by June 2022
Attend school and/or reside in Bucks County, PA
Identify as African-American or Black/African Descent
You can apply for only 1 scholarship
Upon selection, you must provide verification that you are enrolled in a program related to the
presented scholarships
All applicants will be notified via email of the results of their application in August 2022
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
You will need to submit the following materials via the Application Link or the form below by
September 30, 2022 at 11:59 PM:
RESUME: Should be attached as a pdf. File title should be your first and last name.
Example: Jane Doe Resume.
Your resume should include all of the following applicable categories:
Awards/Honors/Recognition (list year)
Academic Activities (include year(s) of participation)
Community Activities (include year(s) of participation)
Work Experience (Include job title, year(s), hrs./week)
All applicants will be notified via email of the results of their application in June 2021
Please do not abbreviate activity names, include year(s) of participation for every award and
activity position, and include any work positions held while in school and during breaks. You

ESSAY: Should be attached as a pdf. File title should be your first and last name, essay, and
the current year. Example: Jane Doe Essay 2022.
Essay should be typed, double spaced and no more than 500 words. The essay must include an
introduction of yourself, and your reasons for applying for the scholarship. Please respond to
the following prompt:
Essay Prompt: Please attach a brief, biographical essay describing your reasons for applying for this
scholarship, why you should receive this award and how you will use your college education to
better the world.
TRANSCRIPT: Your unofficial transcript should be attached as a pdf. Your transcript should
include your Final 2022 grades.
